Our UNSCHEDULED trip to Disneyland

On Saturday morning, (the 17th (?)) Brandon woke me up and informed me that we would be going to Disneyland and he wanted to leave in an HOUR AND A HALF!!! So up and at em!! We left in just short of two hours and were well on our way to the happiest place on earth... and then:
GRACIE THREW-UP!!! What the H!!!
But Brandon was insistant on going... so we got something for Gracie to eat, hung out for a little bit longer and she seemed to be doing better... so we headed down there.
It was so much fun. I can't explain the joy that I get from seeing Gracie enjoy life. It is like being a little kid all over again. The cutest thing is when she sees something that she is over the moon about and says... wook, wook...(she can't say her L's... some kind of a cruel joke... with Leavitt being her last name... lets hope she grows out of it.) Her favorite part would be the parade and interesting enough she loved the night before Christmas haunted house (we thought that she would be scared to death). I am so glad that we were able to go, have a couple of laughs and make memories that we will remember forever. One of the many reasons why I love my Husband, he teaches me to enjoy life..

A-Rod is Back... Hopefully!

For those of you that follow the Yanks, you would have know that at the end of the season Alex Rodriguez opted out of his contract... in hopes for more money (who could blame him... wheres the love in NY)!!! But at last it seems as if he has come to his senses and decided to give it one more "old college try"... hopefully for the next ten years. I know, I know... who cares... and this is where I come in. Last season Brandon decided that we would all get Yankee Jerseys. I was on board and seeing how A-rod is my favorite player (side note: I am not a typical Yankee fan... I liked A-rod even when he was hitting, like a million home runs) I got his jersey. So you could see how devastated (oh right, a little over board) I was when it seemed as if he wouldn't be returning. Those jerseys are like 100 bucks!!! But... my prayers have been answered and it looks as if (it's not official yet) he will be signing a 10 year deal for a mere $275 million (Not too shabby) and additional bonuses if he breaks the home run record that is currently held by Barry Bonds (762). So... my friends there is your Yankee lesson for the season. to sum it up:

Family Pictures

Last Saturday we got family pictures taken by BECKY EARL. You can see a few on her picture blog: http://www.youshouldgetapictureofthat.blogspot.com/. I don't think that I can express how much I love the five pictures that she has posted (yes, I have only seen the five... for the love!! she's killing me!!!) She told me that she just started taking pictures... you can judge for yourself, my conclusion is that she is a pretty good liar!!! I would recommend her to anyone!! Amazing!! and to top it off... the sweetest person ( she dealt with Gracie taking pictures and I still can say that!). Good Job... so impressed.

Oh, and today at the Gym Stephanie did more calf raises then me! You go girl!! hee hee

So I have been tagged by Stephanie... one of my favorite workout pals... I am 27... so here is 27 (wonderful... crazy... silly) things about me!

1. Married to Brandon for almost 5 years... he keeps me on my feet...he is almost as smart and witty as me... almost
2. Have two kids... Gracie (4 years old) and Parker (6months)
3. I love to craft... anything!!! except when I get into my crafting mode I forget about everything else... children needing to eat... house needing to be clean
4. I am anti-schedule... I wish I could maintain one, but I like flying by the seat of my pants
5. I would love to get my masters in Marriage and Family counseling... I love the dynamics of relationships, especially marriage... and i think everyone could use a little counseling
6. I count my kids toys... don't worry I am medicated hee hee
7. When I was little I thought that I was going to get abducted by aliens...(a little side note: I was ruined when I saw the movie SiGNS)

19. For about a year I slept in till 10 every morning... Oh the good old days
